SBG Study uses account and study data to provide the features described here. We do not sell your personal study data. The app may also receive bounded diagnostics when you submit feedback or report a problem.

Account and study data

• • Feedback submissions, which may include your account, current page route, and device/browser metadata to help diagnose issues
• • Error reports and limited adaptive debugging telemetry used by administrators to investigate behavior and tune the study experience

Usage information

The application source contains no explicit developer analytics event calls or external advertising/analytics SDK. If a future feature explicitly records a limited application event, the event properties are determined by that feature. The current source does not show application analytics payloads containing assessment answers, study records, email addresses, precise location, or browser fingerprints.

Service and operational data

Hosting and service infrastructure may process limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service. This can include request information, authentication or security events, performance and function-execution information, and runtime or error diagnostics. To prevent support-form abuse, SBG Study also keeps short-lived rate-limit records containing only SHA-256-derived identity/network keys and timestamps; the limiter does not store the raw email or network address in those records, and they are configured to expire after 24 hours. These records are not the same as your active account study data.

How we use it

Guest data

Guest study progress is stored only in local browser storage on that device until you choose to transfer it to an account. Leaving guest mode does not silently upload that data. Clearing browser storage removes it.

Your data and your account

Your test history and study progress are tied to your account. You can reset progress or permanently delete your account from the Account page. The application deletion flow removes the account-owned profile, study records, attempts, saved items, feedback, reports, and application diagnostics associated with that account. Limited operational, security, diagnostic, or service records may remain within the service infrastructure after deletion when they are not part of active account data or are needed for security, abuse prevention, or legal compliance. No fixed retention period is promised here.

Use the in-app Feedback option to ask a privacy question or report a data concern. Do not include passwords, authentication codes, or other secrets.
